How to Make It:
Ingredients:
- 2 Large Sweet Potatoes
- 2 T Rendered Fat (beef, duck, chicken, or pork) OR Ghee
- 2 tsp Cassava Flour (or flour of choice)
- 2 tsp Jerk Seasoning
- Salt to taste
Directions:
1️⃣ Prep the sweet potatoes: Peel and slice them into ⅜ to ½-inch pieces.
2️⃣ Preheat the oven: Set to 425°F and place a baking sheet inside to heat for 10 minutes.
3️⃣ Coat the potatoes: Melt the fat and toss it with the potato slices in a bowl. Mix the flour and Jerk Seasoning, then sprinkle over the potatoes and toss to coat.
4️⃣ Bake: Remove the hot baking sheet, line it with parchment paper, and arrange the fries in a single layer. Bake for 25 minutes, flip gently, and bake for another 15-20 minutes until crispy.
